Demineralized Water Plant: Powering Efficiency at Zomet Power Station

Overview: BlueGen Water was entrusted with the construction of Israel’s demineralized water plant to support Mitsubishi Energy Services gas turbine-powered electricity generation system at Zomet Power Station.

Addressing the challenge of meeting strict standards, the primary focus was on producing demineralized water of exceptional quality. With a potential capacity of 216 m3/h, the plant needed to adapt to peak demand, maintain brine conductivity for irrigation, and ensure potable water for continuous operation.

BlueGen Water Solution:

  • An All-in-One solution encompassing design, construction, system command and control, maintenance, and commissioning.
  • Three modular water production lines, each capable of delivering 72 M3/h of demineralized water.
  • Real-time adjustments based on the power station’s water requirements, optimizing water recovery ratios, and ensuring operational flexibility amidst fluctuations in brine conductivity.
  • Parallel operation enabling adjustments in production based on the power station’s real-time water needs.
  • A dynamic system allowing the plant to optimize water recovery ratios, respond to fluctuations in brine conductivity, and ensure operational flexibility.
