Innovative Brackish Water Desalination
Overview: BlueGen Water initiated a 16-year BOT project aimed at creating a water source for Kibbutz Kfar Masaryk. The desalination facility processes raw saline water from two distinct wells and provides superior-quality potable water to the local grid.
BlueGen Water Solution: BlueGen Water assumed responsibility for the entire project life cycle, from design to construction and operation. Beyond conventional desalination processes, BlueGen Water introduced innovations, including advanced process design features and detailed civil, mechanical, and electrical works on-site. The plant, the sole desalination facility in North Israel, currently delivers over 15,000 m³/day of high-quality potable water to the local grid.
