The 120 MW Power Station operated by OPC Energy plays a vital role as an essential energy provider, requiring a daily water capacity of 2,400 m³. Its primary objective is to fulfill the electricity and steam requirements of a large-scale paper mill, which annually produces 430,000 tons of paper, while ensuring dependable energy supply to end-users throughout Israel.
The Yerevan Power Station, a 250 MW combined cycle power plant (CCPP) with a capacity of 2 x 96 m³/day demineralized water, constructed by Siemens Energy, completed within a remarkable project duration of less than 9 months, even during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Recognizing the crucial importance of efficient water treatment, the Yerevan Power Station aimed to support its operations in providing a reliable generation to power source for the city’s population and beyond.
