With a populace of two million depending on the diminishing quality of water from the Yamuna River, traditional methods fell short of meeting strict standards and providing the city with a sustainable solution. The Agra water treatment plant faced seasonal variations, increased ammonia levels, and the influx of contaminants from upstream Sewage Treatment Plants. These challenges required the implementation of a new approach to ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality drinking water.
